Thursday 26th – Saturday 28th June – Northumberland Plate Festival
The Newcastle Racecourse Plate Festival, a social and racing carnival spread over three days from Thursday June 26 to Saturday June 28, includes the 128th John Smith’s Northumberland Plate – at £200,000, the richest two-mile handicap horse race anywhere in Europe. This will be watched by a 25,000 capacity crowd on the Saturday. Book now to avoid disappointment! July 26th Barclays Commercial Beeswing Ladies Day - One of the most glamorous events in Newcastle’s social calendar, Ladies day is a fantastic day out. The Pimms & Champagne will be flowing and you may even be spotted and selected for the Marks & Spencer Best Dressed Lady Competition. Of course, gentlemen are welcome too!
